Condition

The plaster appears to be stable. There are several knocks, chips and losses to the extreme edges of the relief. The largest of these include a horizontal loss measuring approximately 2cm. in the lower right corner, a further vertical loss at the upper right of the rectangular form in the lower left of the composition and a line of loss measuring approximately 2.5cm. at the centre of the upper edge with further chips across the work. There is evidence of surface dirt and matter across the work including scattered mould, particularly in the pitted areas. With the exception of the above the work appears to be in good overall condition. The plaster is float mounted in a white painted tray frame.
