Provenance

Gifted by the Artist to the father of the present owner

Condition

The card appears sound. The edges of the card are uneven, which appears inkeeping with the artist's working materials. The lower right edge of the collaged element is lifting very slightly. There is a very fine line of craquelure to the grey pigment in the lower left corner, only visible upon close inspection. There is some light surface dirt across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The card is float-mounted onto a painted wooden board with a card mount, and presented in a brushed metallic strip frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
