- Untitled
- signed and dated 63
- oil, gouache and charcoal on paper
- 55 by 75.5cm.; 21¾ by 29¾in.
Provenance
Hamilton Galleries, London
Condition
The sheet is partially laid down on to the backing card. The sheet undulates, but otherwise appears sound. There are one or two fine lines of craquelure visible in the thicker areas of paint, most apparent in the green pigment in the lower right quadrant, which has resulted in one spot of lifting and loss to the green pigment. There is some scattered foxing and the sheet is slight discoloured towards the edges. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in overall good condition.
The work is presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
