Condition

Gouache, Red Blue and Green 1963: The sheet appears sound. There are several pinholes at each of the four corners and at the centre of the upper horizontal edge, thought to be consistent with the artist's working method. The extreme edges of the sheet are slightly scuffed. There is a soft crease at the lower right corner, with some extremely minor associated losses. There are some minor scuffs and rubbing across the surface of the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. Gouache, Black and Blue 1963: The sheet appears sound. There are several pinholes at each of the four corners and at the centre of the upper horizontal edge, thought to be consistent with the artist's working method. The extreme edges of the sheet are slightly scuffed. There is a soft crease at both the lower right and upper left corners, and two soft creases at the lower left corner, with some very minor associated losses. There are some minor scuffs across the surface of the work. There is a very tiny loss to the gouache to the centre of the right vertical brown line. There is some light surface dirt, most apparent in the dark blue pigment in the lower right quadrant. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. Each work is unframed.
