Condition

The relief elements appear to be securely attached. There are some scattered spots of surface matter predominately in the upper left quadrant and further traces of very light surface dirt and dust in areas throughout. There are some small lines of paint cracking where the relief elements are attached to the supporting board. There is a very minor knock with some associated paint loss in the lower right corner. With the exception of the above the painting appears to be in good condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of florescence or retouching. The painting is unframed. Please contact the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work or if you would like to have an ultra violet light report.
