Condition

The sheet is laid down at points along the edges onto a supporting board. The edges of the sheet are uneven and the lower edge is deckled which appears to be consistent with the artist's materials. There are also pinholes in each of the four corners and at the centre of the upper edge. These again appears to be consistent with the artist's working method. There is a very minor wave in the sheet and evidence of some studio detritus scattered across the surface. With the exception of the above the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is float mounted and held behind glass in a black painted frame. Please contact the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
