- 91.5 by 76.5cm.; 36 by 30in.
Provenance
Sale, Phillips London, 4th December 2001, lot 136, where purchased by the present owner
Condition
Oil on original canvas. The collaged elements appear securely attached. There is a diagonal pencil line in the upper left quadrant which may be consistent with the artist's working method. There is some surface dirt throughout the composition. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals fluorescence in areas of the collaged elements. This appears to be consistent with the artists' adhesive and surface dirt. There are also very small flecks of fluorescence on the supporting canvas which also appear to result from surface dirt.
The work is float-mounted in a limed natural wood frame.
