Provenance

Sale, Christie's South Kensington, 30th June 2005, lot 384, where purchased by the present owner

Condition

Not examined out of the frame. There are pinholes at isolated intervals along the extreme edge. The work appears to be laid down onto a supporting board at the corners. The work comprises of two sheets and the collaged elements appear to be securely attached. The edges of the sheet are rough: this appears to be consistent with the artist's working materials. On close examination, soft creases are visible throughout the sheets and traces of surface dirt and studio detritus are also apparent. With the exception of the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. The artwork is float mounted in a white box frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
