Exhibited

London, Redfern Gallery, Bryan Kneale: New Sculpture, 29th September - 23rd October 1981, cat. no.17.

Condition

The sculpture is freestanding. There are a few areas of rubbing to the extreme edges of some of the bronze elements. The surface of the sculpture features very light scratch marks throughout, most likely a result of the artist's working method. The brown patina is slightly uneven across the sculpture, most likely as a result of the artist's working method. Two pieces of leather, cut to fit the base of the sculpture, have come loose but remain with the sculpture. The bronze elements of the sculpture appear to be strong and stable, and subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good condition. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
