Condition
Original canvas. There is a small area of paint loss at the lower centre of the composition, with two further losses at the extreme right vertical edge, another in the upper left corner and another to the right of the flowers. On close examination it is possible to see several areas of paint cracking, including but not limited, to the upper right quadrant, an area below the fruit bowl and another at the centre left.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of florescence or retouching.
The work is presented behind glass in a large painted wood frame and slip.
