Condition
The sheet is laid down onto card. The sheet has an uneven edge, which appears to be inkeeping with the artist's working method. The sheet is creased in several places, the most prominent of these being two creases running diagonally across the sheet from the lower horizontal to the right-hand vertical, each measuring approximately 6cm, and another two creases, running diagonally from the lower horizontal to the upper horizontal, each measuring approximately 8.5cm. There are further creases across the sheet, most obvious in the areas of brown gouache. There appears to have been minor losses to the gouache, most apparent towards the upper edge of the painted area. There is some surface dirt and studio detritus across the work.
The work is framed and glazed, window-mounted in a painted wooden frame, with a linen slip.
