Catalogue Note
Inscribed by Proust to J.H. Rosny ainé (the pen name of Joseph Henri Honoré Boex, 1856-1940). Rosny, renowned for his science fiction writing, was one of the founding judges of the Prix Goncourt which was awarded to Proust in 1919 for this volume from his series A la recherche du temps perdu.
