Condition

This copy has numerous pages uncut, with only some minor spotting and browning, noticeable on the front endpapers and a few pages. The page bearing the author’s signature also bears a neat ownership inscription in ink. The white laminate pictorial boards appear lightly spotted and are worn at extremities, particularly at the corners and along the lower edges. Lettering on spine slightly faded. This copy is housed in a green slipcase, which is worn at extremities and the label is slightly chipped.

Catalogue Note

It appears that the American publisher issued 500 copies of which 100 were numbered and signed by the author (with a different limitation note). This copy is one of the 400 copies although it does carry Milne's signature on the reverse of the frontispiece.
