Catalogue Note
Writing of Dulac's edition in his bibliography of the artist, Ann Conolly Hughey states that the watercolours "...show a new Dulac style... The detailing and design of the pictures present some of Dulac's most careful and superb painting. He himself like these illustrations best of all his work."
