Catalogue Note
In Edmund Dulac (London, 1976), Colin White notes that although the book was published in 1908, it was "issued also in 1909 in an unsigned, unnumbered, limited edition of probably 160 copies in portfolio form..." Hughey notes, however, that the publishers "printed a total of 5,000 Lyrics titles and sheets in 1908. The portfolio edition was composed of the left-over sheets from the trade editions. There may have been as many as 1,000 portfolios, according to the publishers".
