Includes over 400 nursery rhymes, with extensive illustrations and decorative details, not all of which were included in later reprints. Ernest Rhys was the founding editor of the Everyman's Library series, which aimed to publish 1000 classic books at an affordable price. This target was eventually reached in 1956, ten years after Rhys' death.
