Catalogue Note

Milne writes in his introduction that the artist "...needs no introduction at my hands. Anybody who has heard of me has certainly heard of Shepard. Indeed our names have been associated on so many title pages that I am beginning to wonder which of us is which..."

This collection gathers together many of E.H. Shepard's contributions to Punch.
