Catalogue Note

Felix Salten sold the film rights for Bambi to Disney studios in 1933 and their animated cartoon version appeared in 1942.

This copy is complete with four full-page colour illustrations which precede the text and were intended to be removed by the owner and framed to create a "Bambi Gallery", although they here remain intact.
