Catalogue Note

Julia Ellsworth Ford's play has caused some bibliographical problems. It was first published in 1919 by Moffat, Yard and Co. Richard Riall in his bibliography notes a reprint in 1933 by Suttonhouse but states "Latimore and Haskell have different information... They date their edition at 1935, so it may be a later edition, but the increase in the number of pages may be a mistake."

The increase in the number of pages is not an error. It appears that the book was published in 1919, 1933 and then 1935 (as here) - hence "third printing". It is RARE IN DUST-JACKET and, published only in the United States, an uncommon Rackham title in any edition.
