i) Winnie-the-Pooh and the Bees. [1954], minor browning to title-page; ii) Winnie-the-Pooh and Eeyore’s Tail. [1954], very minor spotting to boards; both 4to (340 x 180mm.), illustrations adapted by A. Schenk from E.H. Shepard, coloured pages and four pop-up illustrations, original pictorial boards, original spiral wire binding, pictorial fixed endpapers, extremities slightly rubbed (2)
Condition
i) The pop ups are all in fine condition with no apparent damage. As stated above, there is some browning to the title page, and some soiling to the versos of the boards resulting from contact with the spiral binding. The extremities of the boards are slightly worn, most noticeable at the corners, and the fore-edges of the verso of the front boards.
ii) The pop ups are all in fine condition with no apparent damage. As with the other book in the lot, there is some discolouration to the versos of the boards resulting from contact with the spiral binding. The boards are slightly spotted, with a very slight bump to the lower left corner of the lower board with some associated creasing.
