Condition

The sculpture is in good condition. It displays a thin black patina with gold tones below. A tiny nick in the bronze was noted on the left side of the skirt on the edge. Another tiny nick in the bronze was found on the top front edge of the bronze base. Small round foundry plugs that are inherent to the cast were noted on the arms. Dark spots were also observed on the back of the base. Tiny spots of bright bronze were observed on the back of her left leg, the front of her skirt and on the side of the base. The sculpture is clean and has a fresh protective wax coating on the surface. The sculpture is structurally sound. (This condition report has been prepared courtesy of Wilson Conservation, LLC)
