Condition

The paint layer seems to have been varnished at some point since it was painted. This varnish has begun to delaminate from the original paint layer, causing noticeable milky areas throughout the composition. This varnish should be carefully removed. Ideally, this is a work that would remain unvarnished. The heavily applied paint layer has no visible instability or any signs of restoration. There is possibly a small loss on the lower center edge and another beneath the first “7” of the date “77”in the lower right. The paint layer is otherwise very healthy.
