Condition
This work seems to be in its original condition. It is still on its original stretcher. It is unvarnished. There are slight differences to the glazing in the belly of the figure, but this is due to the way the paint layer dried. There do not appear to be any retouches or damages. The work should be hung in its current state. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
