Condition

This work is still stretched on its original stretcher. It is recommended that the current restoration be reexamined. In the lower right corner about 6 inches from the bottom edge, one can see a line of losses extending through the shapes here. The restorations here have discolored, but these are isolated losses that are not a structural damage. In addition, there is a very amateurish restoration in the white color in the upper right quadrant and another small loss in the white color in the center of the left side. The paint layer may be very slightly unstable in a couple of spots in the white color. The work has been cleaned but not thoroughly, and remnants of dirt can be seen around the signature in the lower right. The condition is good, bearing in mind the retouching in the lower right, but the restoration is not as effective as it could be.
