Condition

This work has probably never been restored. In the lower center, there are tiny white flecks of non-original substance. These may be little pieces of a paper towel used to wipe the surface. The paint layer is probably very slightly dirty otherwise, but cleaning is not necessarily recommended. The strip frame around the edges is original. The stretcher and the reverse of the canvas are all untouched. The reverse of the canvas has developed slight staining, but the surface is in beautiful condition.
