Description

  • kingwood, tulipwood, giltbronze, pine, poplar, oak
  • 72cm. high, 52cm. wide., 33cm. deep; 2ft. 4½in., 1ft. 8½in., 1ft. 1in.
with a rectangular sliding top with moulded edge and rounded corners revealing a quarter-veneered top with a gilt-bronze scrolled handle on each side, the concave-fronted frieze draw on cabriole legs terminating in gilt-bronze feet, the whole inlaid with diaper motifs

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. There is a hairline horizontal construction crack across the top which can be left or filled. The top beneath is a bit scuffed. There are some very minor restorations to the parquetry. Some very minor sections of veneer missing which can easily be restored.
