Condition

Canvas is laid down on Masonite. Surface is in generally good condition. There are losses due to frame abrasion to the left edge, predominantly in the lower half. Flaking to the surface media at the buildings in the foreground, particularly in areas of heavier impasto, though media appears stable overall. There is light soiling and surface accretions throughout. Colors are bright and fresh. UNDER UV: There are signs of inpainting to the buildings in the foreground, presumably to fill in for the aforementioned flaking, and a few small dots of inpainting to the tallest tree in the picture.
