silk brocade woven with a dragon-cloud border and mounted as a handscroll, the texts written in both Chinese (arranged from right to left) and Manchu script (arranged from left to right), signed in the middle with six different dates: 16th day, 12th month, 52nd Year of Qianlong; 18th day, 12th month, 8th Year of Jiaqing; 26th day, 8th month, 26th Year of Jiaqing; 16th day, 12th month, 26th Year of Daoguang; and the 18th day, 12th month, 4th Year of Guangxu, and stamped with eight imperial seals
Condition
The scroll is in its entirety. The beginning and the edges of the paper backing are worn. There are small areas of stains and discoloring on the silk surface. The edges of the textile are worn. The two knobs of the wooden roller are missing.
