Condition

Stable overall condition. Losses to extremities as visible in catalog illustration. Abrasions to pigment particularly whites, due to age, also visible in catalog illustration. Inscription on verso with remnants of old cello tape around the edges of the paper. This lot is exhibited in a temporary frame.

Krishna calmly stands with an outstretched arm emitting fire which surrounds the inhabitants and animals of the Khandava forest. In vivid reds greens and yellow the flames grow higher.
