Catalogue Note

Krishna in his cosmic form of Vishnu and accompanied by his consort Satyabhama calmly slays the mighty asura general Mura cutting off all of his five heads. His vehicle Garuda races forward breaking through every barrier while carrying the couple aloft on a giant lotus cushion. They cross a moat protecting the citadel of Naraka, breaching all of its massive defenses and fortifications. The demon king Naraka sits in meditation with knees bound within a brilliantly colored crimson-red chamber in his yellow palace, awaiting his own destruction.
