Provenance

The late Mr. William F. Spengler was an American diplomat and served as a consular officer in Lahore from 1955—56; consul in Peshawar from 1962—65; and political officer in Kabul from 1965—67, among other posts, and acquired these works between 1955—1967.

Fragmentary as viewed with wear, losses and accretion overall.
