- Gilt bronze
seated in vajraparyankasana with right hand in varada mudra and left hand in samadhi mudra, the hair in raised curl pattern with dome-shaped finial, the face with gentle expression, raised urna and aquiline nose, with identifying Tibetan inscription (gzi brjid mtha' yas) at foot of throne

Acquired 1966—1969; thence by descent.
Condition
Good overall condition with wear to gilding and minor accretion throughout. Traces of polychrome at hair. Some wear to curls. Scattered areas of oxidation. With Tibetan inscription at base. Base plate intact.
