Description

  • Gilt bronze
standing in alidhasana with the right and left hands in vajra mudra, red hair streaming behind an abbreviated crown, mouth agape and fangs bared with three bulging eyes and flaming eyebrows, adorned a garland of severed heads and the six bone ornaments with raised beadwork

Acquired in San Francisco, 2000. 

Condition

Wear to gilding and accretion overall. Traces of polychrome at hair and in mouth. Possible restoration to deity's member.
