the blue Yama at center in alidhasana, together with his consort Yami wearing a flayed antelope skin and holding aloft kapala offering, both standing astride a bull mount within a flaming halo, surrounded by a retinue of fierce protectors

Acquired in California, 1970s. 

Condition

Thangka with original brocade mounted on board. Wear, accretion and loss to pigments overall. With consolidated areas of inpaitning in areas of white and green pigments. Thangka has been varnished.
