Condition

The work is sepia wash over pencil and black chalk on paper. The sheet is hinged at five points along the top edge, verso, the marks visible with some very slight discoloration, recto. There is very light surface dirt and handling creases throughout. There is very light mat and light staining to the sheet. The work is matted so that the sheet edges are visible; they are uneven, particularly the right margin. There are two pieces of old hinge tape at the bottom corners. The work presents very well and is in very good overall condition.
