The second work is related to Paysage de Montreuil (1914, oil on canvas, 73 by 92.5 cm) in the Saarland Museum, Saarbrucken, Germany (inv. no. 1273).

The third work was executed circa 1915 and titled by Juliette Roche-Gleizes Le joueur de banjo on the reverse of a photograph.

Condition

The first: The sheet is in fair condition. There medium is ink and ink wash over pencil on heavy paper. The sheet is hinged at two points along the top edge, verso. The sheet shows signs of past exposure to moisture, particularly visible under the current matting along the bottom. There is a 1 inch vertical tear just to the left of the right hinge. There are are two horizontal tears along the left edge, and a 1/2 inch horizontal tear near the bottom of the right edge, none visible under the current matting. There is a hard crease in the lower left corner of the sheet, not visible under the current matting. There is surface dirt throughout with a few small spots of accretion hidden by the current matting, and two spots of apparent bleach near the top corners, also hidden by the matting. The sheet is light and mat stained . There are traces of old hinging tape at the top corners, verso. The second: The medium is pen and ink and gouache on tracing paper. The sheet was laid down at all four edges to card, but with age the glue has lost some of its adhesive and the bottom and left edges have been freed. There is a two inch horizontal tear visible in the picture plane, extending from the center of the right edge. There is a flattened hard crease along the bottom of the sheet as well as a diagonal hard crease across the upper right corner. There are small losses to the upper left and lower right corners. There is some light and mat staining; overall the work is in fair condition. The third: The sheet has four points of hinge tape along the top edge, visible recto and verso. There is a hard crease running across the sheet about 2.5 inches from the top. There is a hard diagonal crease at the tip of the lower right corner with associated paper separation. There are two pinholes at the center of the lower margin. There is a one inch horizontal repaired tear at the center of the left margin. Verso, there is a pencil composition covering the sheet. There are scattered spots of foxing both recto and verso. In the lower right corner recto there is a spot of dried visible, possible watercolor. There is mat and light staining to the sheet, surface dirt and handling creases throughout.
