Condition
The medium is watercolor and gouache over crayon on tracing paper. The sheet is mounted on card. Due to a previous matting there is old adhesive and losses and some tears to both the surface oif the exposed card, and the margins of the sheet. However the picture plane is intact, with the exception of a 1 inch diagonal tear extending downward from the upper left margin, and extending 1/2 inch into the picture plane's own margin, just entering the drawn portion of the work. There is surface dirt throughout and a few small spots of foxing. The sheet is light stained, and there is mat staining, as well as visible acidic adhesive in the sheets margins. The colors are bold and the work is in fair condition but presents well.
