Condition

THE FIRST: Sheet is hinged to front mat at top, verso is visible. Recto: surface in generally good condition, colors are bright and fresh. Some mat and light stain. There is a four inch diagonal hard crease visible in the upper left hand corner. There is an additional one inch hard crease also in the upper left hand corner. A small paper fault visible in lower left hand corner. Scattered handling marks and other soft creases visible throughout sheet. There is a watermark running vertically along the right hand edge. Verso: Mat and light stain. Scattered surface dirt and staining, and a few minor fox marks. The creases mentioned above are visible on the verso. THE SECOND: Sheet is taped to the front mat, verso is visible. Recto: Surface in generally good condition. Some minor light stain. There is a hard diagonal crease running the width of the sheet approximately one inch from the extreme lower edge. There is another hard crease running the width of the sheet visible approximately one inch from the extreme upper edge. A few very faint scattered fox marks. Verso: Some mat and light stain. Aforementioned creases are visible. A few faint scattered fox marks and stains.
