THE FIRST: Pen and ink on paper over traces of pencil. Surface in generally good condition. Some faint fox marks visible. Sheet is adhered to the front mat, verso is not visible. There is a 1/2 inch repaired tear visible at upper center. There is a 1/8 inch repaired tear visible at center left. Sheet appears faintly stained. THE SECOND: Watercolor and pen and ink on paper laid down on paperboard, verso not visible. Surface in fair condition. Significant light stain to sheet. A 5 inch repaired tear visible in the upper right hand corner of the sheet. A few scattered fox marks visible.
