Condition

Charcoal on paper. Sheet is hinged to mat at top, verso is visible. Recto: Surface in generally good condition. Mat and light stain. Irregular staining at upper two corners.There are some small losses around the extreme edges of the sheet, particularly at the bottom. An 11 inch diagonal abrasion visible through the center of the composition. Some scattered fox marks. Verso: Surface in generally good condition. Some mat stain. Scattered fox marks. Staining at upper corners corresponding to marks mentioned on Recto.
