Condition

Oil on canvas, not lined. Canvas is slightly slack on the stretcher. Surface in generally good condition, aside from some surface dirt. Some slight bumping in all four corners. A few areas of scattered craquelure. Under UV light; some scattered areas of inpainting visible, in line with areas of craquelure.

The present lot is part of a series of marine paintings that the artist completed during his stay in American from 1930 to 1931.
