Condition
Painted ceramic. Surface in generally good condition, some minor surface abrasion and a very small loss visible on outside left edge. Some cracking visible under the protective surface in the white surrounding the doorknob plate. The sculpture is secured to its clear armature by a metal bolt and washer at the reverse. The work can be removed from the armature.

This work is from a design project for door ornamentation commissioned from various artists at Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company in 1955.
