Canvas is unlined. Edges are reinforced with tape. The work bears a richly textured surface, especially in the figure and the orange pigments in the background. Some lines of cracking, mostly horizontal, are visible in the figure's face, body and headdress. Surface is slightly dirty. Under UV light no inpainting is apparent. Work is in generally very good condition.
