Condition

The canvas is unlined and the colors are bright and fresh. There is some unevenness to the surface of the canvas with occasional hairline craqueler predominantly in the white and gray pigments. There is a dot of paint loss in the upper portion of the upper most pear. Two areas of evident repair are visible on the back of the canvas in the upper right quadrant of the composition. Under UV light a layer of varnish makes it somewhat difficult to read through. Overall this work is in good condition.
