Condition

This work is in fair stable condition. The paint layer is stable and the panel is healthy. The top layer of the support was made from numerous pieces of wood to form a composite panel which has been cradled. Under UV light: each of the original joins in the wood has been restored. The retouching is limited to the extreme edges of each piece except for that which runs vertically through the center of the work on the edge of the subject's hair line.
