Condition

This work is in overall good condition. The canvas is lined. The surface is richly textured and the pigments are fresh and vibrant. Some stable hairline craquelure in the darkest brown-black pigments. Under UV light: scattered small strokes of in-painting along the edges and in the figure's hair. One four-inch vertical restoration to a tear running though figure's ankle. Otherwise, fine.
