Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a 7cm line of retouching to the upper right corner and some minor dots and lines to the upper chest and tummy of the boy in the foreground. There is a small hole to the canvas to the lower right corner and a few scattered spots of exposed canvas where the pigment has perhaps been rubbed. There is a very fine line of craquelure to the lower left corner. Otherwise this work is in good condition.
