Condition

Verso (illustrated in the catalogue as the main image): Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, and t-hinged to the overmount in two places along the upper edge. The sheet is slightly time-stained. There is a minor scuff, possibly with some paper infill, towards the upper left corner, and one towards the centre of the upper edge. There are two minor vertical tears to the upper part of the left edge coinciding with previous tape on the recto, and one very minor vertical tear (also coinciding with the remnants of previous tape on the recto) to the upper right corner. There is another very small tear to the upper left edge. There is some paper skinning and light discolouration along the right edge. The left and right edges are very slightly uneven. Recto: There is some paper skinning with some associated infills in places along the upper, right and lower edges. There is some mount-staining to all four extreme edges. There are some very minor spots of foxing in places. Overall this work is in good condition.
