Condition

The canvas is not lined. Recto - There is a layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however UV examination does reveal a spot of old retouching to the right handle of the vase and a few spots around its rim. There is some frame rubbing along the upper, left, and lower edges. There is some paint shrinkage, with associated fine lines of craquelure, predominantly to the upper right quadrant. There is some stable craquelure to the lemon and green apple, and to the leftmost apple. Verso - There do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV examination. There are a few lines of craquelure to the lower left corner. This work is in overall good condition.
