Ces coupes ont été faites pour Adélaïde Le Nourry de la Grignardière, seconde épouse de François, baron Clément de la Roncière (Amiens, 1773-Incarville 1854), créé baron de l'Empire le 17 mars 1808, blessé de onze coups de sabre et amputé du bras gauche à Eckmühl en 1809, nommé général de division la même année, commandant de l'école de cavalerie de Saumur, chevalier de Saint-Louis, grand officier de la Légion d'honneur. Son nom est inscrit sous l'Arc de Triomphe à Paris.
